MILANO ;D

It's Milan trip! Yaayy!! So excited! We departed Wolverhampton at 840pm on 11th may. We had our 1st pit stop at 10.15pm. N be back on 10.52. We continued our journey, it's now 12:14am on Tuesday 12thmay. Slept before our pit stop earlier. So now, just jotting down stuff ;P with iPod in my ears.

At 240am we made our way to the gates towards France, the bus went on the ferry. The ferry was indeed certainly beautiful. It was massive, and if this is their ferry, God knows how amazing their cruises will be!!! So we had our time lazing around. Sleepg etc. Got myself a bottle of 30ml Lolita lempicka! Oh my! Remember aunt dahlia bought me those?? Yeah! Awesome, at £15.50.(rm75.50?) u cannot get that price anywhere else I tell ya! Hehe. Tho took me ages to reeeeaally think abt it. I wanted it. Always have. It's just sooner or later. The pricewise might not b the same tho. So aftawards , abt. 4 sometg am we reached France. We got back on the bus. Had a conversation w new friend, saara, whose a cashmeran British local. We talked n talked til my eyes starts to sore! Ahaha! Then I excused myself to sleep. N I slept all th way through like a baby! Kan Alia?? Hehe. I woke up wen they made pit stop for fuel. But not many ppl went down. Hmm. Sleep2. Then.. We saw beautiful scenery of French houses n land n well theyre beautiful, we'll take more photos wen we get off at the chapel. 

Ouh.. Sakit gigi. Pls tell me it's not gonna be wisdom tooth symptom! Huhu! 

This is our 1st stop Le corbusier building- ronchamp chapel notre dame. :)) our 1st tour stop. We're given half hour to pit stop. Then, now prolly we're going to Bugatti museum. Tho the delay tht we had. We're also rushing for traffic. N time.

We had our tour to the museum, was amaZingly ravishing!! Beautiful cars n so much history abt it! Ouh. N we got on this citroen car, thought was a display but the French guide asked if wanna go in, I asked price? She didnt get me, so I asked, free?? Oui, 3 turns free. The car was clung on to a vertical pole then it spun upside down! Alia was in the drivers seat, she could hung on the wheel. I hung on to nothing but the ceiling. We scrrrreeaammed!!! Hahhaha! Was awesome! Then we ' merci beaucoup' the lady :) then we were looking for our group members, ah.. Lost fer quite a bit there. Til we saw our lecturers in the cafeteria. Hehe. Then.... Huhuhu.. Went out checked out the shop n was thinking of Gettg a Bugatti collection book for boy. But it's ok lah. Thts 23€ huhu. Got nothin' but it's okay.. Hurmm.. Went out to look for an international adapter, but we came across this French man, so gazing up to us suddenly. Shocked us. Asked for a drink nxt 2 hours afta tht. We said no we gotta go. We're not alone. We're with friends. I was with Alia ja time tu. He was like.. Talkg French all the way, but we figured what he wanted so we said no. Just took his number instead of giving. So he x bother da..

Afta a while tesrempak lagi, we were at subway, dia masuk smiling, like soo glad. Me n Alia. Da takut. Yg lain, 3 Otha girls, tkjut. But he left anyway.





Day 3

I woke up abt 600 UK time. Which was actually 700french clock! Dannnng! I was waiting n be hvg all the time in the world to be downstairs. At 800french clock I saw the bus driver testg the engine n etc. So I thought maybe they woke up early. We didnt know the clock's abt an hour ahead! Huhu. I was waiting for my French breakfast! Sad sad! They told us but me n alia werent there when we're told. Huhu. Had my flapjack n lucazode energy drink. Huhu ;(( adventures n mistakes. But yet! We were on time, was 8 on our UK clock. Was 9 dot on French. The assemble time was 9. The otha 2 Turkish guys were late afta us. They were behind time as well, tho they too woke up early n thinking theyve got all the time in the world. Huhu. Til rob rang 'em up n sometg. Currently now 2 buses meetg up heads, on this really narrow street! Wow, cheers to the bus driver! N co! Very patient chaps! :D oh n I brought forward 1 hour n 10 mins early. Huu~ I'm dreaming away of disappointment tht we didn't hv self awareness, we could hv checked the time when we came in n outta the reception last nite. I remember telling jipah we're prolly abt 2 hours ahead of UK. If only me n Alia followed what I thought, we would b an hour ahead of French time even! Which is even bet-ah! Huhu. I hv no idea why didnt follow wht I told him. Oh, thts bcause Alia n I remembered we checked our watches to the Frenchman who was oogling over us. Yes, tht moment we all hv 8 pm on our watches. Huhu. Okay..

We're now otw to vitra museum to view latest chair design exhibits, here in france as well we pressume, cause wud b reachg there 4 hours frm now.

So we reached vitra museum, oh!! It's germany already?! Hahah! Yea.. So we viewed n checked out some hugee chair sculptures by the roadside. It was 11am, our guided tour begun at 12pm, so by 12 we were already there at the museum! Whoa!! This is reeaalyy like a dream come true! Frank o gehry! Zaha hadid buildings, her 1st project to be exact! Was superbly awesome! So we had 2 hours of guided tour, n made few more local friends along the way, this trip bonded us tgetha ;)) they wanted to approach us the very beginng but just didn't know how. I learnt my way around the camera, he thought me, fast as lighting. Papapap! But yea, I manage to get the hang of it ;) yay!! We had tours to about 5 or 6 buildings in the area. There was frank o gehry, Zaha hadid, tadao ando n some German architect, yea, gotta check up on wolf notes for those. But they're so really amazing! We previously in dip learnt on websites as design inspiration but really, dream came true! :DD

so about 2 pm we left Germany n reached swiss, yea, suddenly,swiss!! Ouiiii! Heheh! But o-oh, they don't accept euros. They hv marche on every stop! Ohhh.. So now I know they're the mother of the awesome marche! All of us were starving! Boleh ja nk grab junk food, they accept euros. But tu laaa.. Too hungry lah! So alia n I we had potato meal, was my gawddd sedap gila!!! Mama thrifty but don't go hungry either! So here goes crdt! There weren't much time given so I packed those n couple of croissants. At least dpt jgk la nk merasa swede food wlaupun x sbrp, but hey, marche tu! Hehe. Then we got on the bus, we saw hills n greens beautiful!! N we saw Swiss alps snow caped mountains! Really amazing! I dunno how many times I said tht, shall learn to say it in 4 diff languages then! Hahhaha! ;)) then I felt sleepy, few times Ben(lecturer) dropped his stuff from the overhead compartment, I helped a bit n slept bck. Hahah! Later Alia told me, he said, she's sleeping again??? Oh she's missing a lot! - lol!!! Then we had our final stop before we hit Milano! Swiss chocs! Ah must get 'em! Got 2 tins, 1 for mama n 1 for ma gee's house. Costs me a bit but it's ok, buat makan kan? :) so now it's 718pm Italian time, will be at Bresica in 1 hour n half. O-oh.. iPod dying. Oh n previous stop, shoot! Sbb x faham, the water I took was actually sparkling sky juice! Laa.. Ptut la murah..

We reached brescia about 9pm Italian time. We got lost a bit there but we made our way through.. Lol! I can't forget robs expression when he saw me falling asleep again. Haha!

So we put our stuff in the room n went back down for dinner. While having pasta, we presume it's just tomato sauce puttanesca. Dangg.. There's traces of bacon innit. Found out when our friends, the girls we sat with, Rachel, Alex n Amy. Rachel looks like Nina, Ouh how I miss Nina n everyone so much!!! Hmmm... Rachel's quite aware abt Muslim n food but dunno she, u knw, bout us, thought we're vegans but not eatg much meat? We stopped eatg. I felt like puking. Next they serve us some meat n potatoes, we dint take the meat of course, the potatoes, I lost my appetite. Afta dinner went back up n went down again for wifi request. 1 euro 1 hr.




Day 4

Morning! Bright new day.. Well, not so bright la, it's a cold gloomy italian morning..hmm.woke up 630am Italian time, went down for breakfast at 8am. Breakfast while waiting to board bus at 9 for THE DESTINATION : MILAN FURNITURE FAIR 2011!

Took us 2 hours to get there due to massive traffic congestion. Alia n I tried our best to dress smart/ formal business-ish. Despite our sports shoes, haha! We went in using our tickets, wanted to follow ard lecturers but just so happend, my SD card full! Oh no.. Alia tried her best to get thru nami but failed. While as I deleted unwanted photos. We couldn't follow up, so Alia, Aisha n I just walked on our own, rendevous bck w group at 6pm. Alia led the way, I followed, just still deletg. Ppl were looking at us funny or I dunno. Yea, sports shoes.

So we had our own time, took photos of latest lightings n designs. We tried asking at a counter, nak catalog, she gv us camtu je, letak then pdg tmpt lain, wth??! Gah.. So anyway.. We had great time looking ard from one exhibit hall to anotha! So very inspired! ;DD then there was this girl came up to me. "hello miss I'm from a fashion blog n u look really great w ur jacket n ur cute bag! :D" I was like... "whaa... U kidding me?? I'm wearing sports shoes with these!" she said." no, it's okay, really, pls, just one photo" I said, "Er.. Ok.." n I posed, n she said,"can u turn to the side of ur bag please?" "oh ok.." n I did. So afta that she thanked me.. N I thanked her back.(dunno for what. Doubt she really thought I looked "great") I didn't bother asking what blog either. Gah. Nvm. C if I'm lucky to be googling it a month frm now ke apa.

Think its cause i was so very STARVING! It was 2 pm then. So many human! ;(( well, I'm not eatg thts why I'm mutant. Lol! Geddit?? Fget it., I so nenong now. Hmm. Later we came across all the classique extravagant luxurious interior spaces companies. We kept stealg/ taking their brochures at the doorways n steal taking photos discreetly, cause tht area, yea well, kata pun area mcm tu. But, hahaha!! There's a guy walking ard in a red vest, we just looked at him, his face was glum tired, then behind the vest, he's actually on duty! "NO PHOTOS" patrol, so me n alia, weh.. Cpt2! No photo bergerak, nk dtg da. *whistles innocently* hahah!! We stole/took some business crds on the display or whateva u call it. It's there, so amik je la, haha!

We came across this booth, so very pretty looking, like fancy cute English concept design room ideas. They were asking for our business card, but we told them we don't hv it ( either we ran out of it or we didnt bring it) we use our Asian face to promote n ask if we could hv them coming over to expand branch in MAS or supply us. Lol! Manis mulut la senang cite! Haha! Mcm x biasa ja.! Lol!! ;))
Last2 dapat catalog.. Tu last piece tht they hv pun hesitate to gv us but afta we talk n talk, they understood. (hehe.. Kena tipu hidup2! Alaa.. Bukan dia x leh print lagi, dia kaya kan.Kita nak 1 ja) so yea,.. Hehe! ;))

So later, we entered this particular luxurious booth. Siap Ada security guard dia not allowing photos. Oh ok.. Then there's like few ppl around, I notice a mirror, not being vain, but btul kan tudung, tarik2 skit, then there was the boss, greeted me so friendly,"malaise?"( I think thts what I heard he asked.. Alia said "we're from Malaysia, we just looking around for inspirations. We're interior designers" he said, "Ahh.. Malaisie!!! Great! :)) come in.. Hv a look." he was looking at me smiling2 I smiled ja.. Then he's like..calling his secretary/wife/ whateva.. "look at that( pointing at me,the back of his hands like having to touch my face, i was, scared a bit, thinkg, don't!) so sweet eyh.. Awwh.. So lovely malaisie.." I was like, just smiling awkwardly then he called his staff,telling him something(staff nmpk cam asian.Mlayu/filipino/ Nepal?) I thought dia Nak bg catalog ka apa. The staff then came back with something in his hand n passes to boss, the boss then handed to me, "here I have a special gift for you, :DD it's a bag, where u can easily carry ur catalogs around,! N here's my card. :)" n he gv another card to Alia. Alia asked if he has catalog? He said he's really sorry he's out of it, brochures n out too. We thanked him, then left.. :)

We loiter around until about 530, we spent sometime a very short while taking self photos, haha! Smbil alia was taking photos of me, some guy was like mocking, "heeyeah baby!!!" (ugh, abaikan je, thinking ada gak org mcm ni kat sini)Then smpat Lg masuk jap anotha exhibit hall.. Run through contemp designs jap.. Hv less than half hour to rendevous,! Ok2 cpt2.. Then done we went out, jumpa rob, we're like, "Yaay!! We found u!" he didn't seem pleased tho sbb org lain tde lg.. Kami membontoti dia utk pulang, macam itik pulang petang lah, takut sesat, haha! Ramai org tuu ok!!

Then we were with Ben. We asked he got many things, yeah. Etc2. Prolly gonna be a loong way bck to hotel, Alia said. He said "yeah, it's okay,U'll sleep anyway." hahhahah!! Utk I la tu! Asek tdo je.. Da kat highway, tdo la, lol! Then we got on the bus, Alia n I borak2 then tgk2 dia ttdo dulu. Hahah!! Then bfore magrib, I ttdo kat Alia.. Tjaga ja langit da biru.. Thinking oh no, tdo Maghrib. ;( hmm.. So stayed awake til we reached the hotel.

Afta putting our things in the room, they said dinner's served. Had vegetarian, really vegetarian.macaroni n later some fish for us. Cod, my friend said. Ah.. Nvm. Full la jgk but habes. Tde mood da la tp.. Sbb lapa n prut da masuk angin.. Hmm. we had some pudding for dessert, chocolate pudding I had, but afta my fren sneezed in front of me, rasa cm germ tempias kena. Tah la, I can b O.C.D sometimes. Then Nak kena teman kwn lg sorg tu nk tea n lemon dia. I opened the piano, Ahhh.. Its been ages since I last played proper chords.. But no I can't play classical songs. Neeed to study those. I play pop.. Tu pun da lupa chords. Sadness! So afta that we went up to our room, gv her paracetamol n she left. Now it's 12am Italian time n I'm watching Italian southpark, nice! Tht'd be all for now, arrivedaci! Xoxo



Day 5

Morning morning beautiful sunshine! Well, not so, woke up bit later than usual, oh no!!! 730am! Quick2! Half hour! Had breakfast.. Brought down my cereal, asked for milk. Then boarded the bus at 9. It's our day to have fun in Milan! Yaay!! :D

Tried hard not to fall asleep, still eventually did.. ;P haha!! Anyway., actually I felt scared to be lead n left on our own.. On the way there, we dropped off Claire n Rachel n some otha to the airport. Rachel's allergy on her lips were extravangantly bad! Sian dia.. Huhu. She's really strong, going through the pain with us since day 1. But she has done her purpose of the trip, n so does claire.

So later, we reached our destination, the city, heart of Milan. Republica area. Dave n Rob struggled to lead us. Since there's claire's not around, so everyone's gettg on lect's nerves. Claire is the head of our department n she's very strict. So then, we listened carefully to their instruction once we got off the bus, before he releases us to spread free in the city. But then, Sara kindly asked us if we wanna follow them, we were carefully talking to Dave at the time, so she just left. We don't trust her sense of direction anyway, :P I don't wanna feel obliged to be following ppl ard once I got mine settled n not get to c what I want. So later.. John decided to follow us, he's like, "the guys are going to the stadium, I don't want to, so can I follow u guys instead?" we said, "yeah, sure, tht'd be great, even betta, cause at least one guy is with us :D"

So we started walking.. Er, map? We didn't bring ours (not much help of directions anyway) so we shared john's. :) . We began with following rob, son Dave n gf, n couple of frens. Hehe. We saw many furniture exhibition shops along the way, they're amazing!! :D colorful wonderful designs, even also few by Zaha Hadid! Yeah!! Hehe. We were literally running afta Rob n son, they're like so fast!! Haha.. Catching up, I think my metabolic rate increased while I'm here in UK n Europe. Hahah! So we pop in n outta furniture shops. Then dunno how in the middle. We lost Ben gf n fren, rob said, "it's okay, he's a big boy, he can take care of himself. :) " so we moved on n walkd n walkd.

We followed rob to few places, until once we realised, we wanna find our way around. We find our way back to where we came from, alia remembered, I, vaguely. We helped ourselves whoever can remember landmarks, we pit stop, at the side walk to get our "life"-map. Hehe.. We needed to get back to the cathedral square, THE heart of Milan really is n get back to castello for our 4pm tour. We were at the square.. We looked for a place to eat. Starving!!!!! I told them, oh hey! Theres one over there. Pizzeria ristorante. Oh ok.. Then.. Tgk2... Laa.. Mcm mahal je. Huhu.. But John said "we should hv a go" the waiter said, "u should try, it's really really good" (org nk market, mmg la.) then I thought.. Ok, Alia, "Kita redah je la, lapar sgt ni, skali Ni je rasa mkn sedap sini." so we did.. The waiter, while tgh pancing bwk kitorg, smbil tu he asked, "where u from?" ( I Tgh pk lagi, tde tmpat lain murah Lg ke area ni) I said "Malaysia" he said ayat pancing, "you're very beautiful, I love your color" I just bluntly said "thank you" (still thinking mn murah lg? Ni ke?) so we mkan lah kat situ.. The food was indeed awesome! Yumm..mm... Then aftawards we head on to the castello. Was really exciting...!

So we reached the area, n on our way there we found Ben n frens! I said, "yeaay!! We found you!!" haha. So we were early n on the dot for the tour, it was really awesome how they engineered n created the lighting designs. N work by archille castigionili( can't rememba exact spelling) was spendid! It was his private studio! Whoa.. His work... Really, practical n functional! :D

So afta our visit we n ben made our way back to republica where our rendevous is. Otw there.. Ben said, Er, it's not this way guys.. We hvta walk back. Gf said, "all the way back??!!" Ben: "no, not all the way, just past this far end building in the corner" oh ok... So we headed to the metro line tube station. Wow!! Milan's tube is really nice. Neat n clean n high tech. ;)) well, it is the centre of fashion n art. Haha! We had a transit n made our way through republica tube station.

We were the earliest to arrive ;D while waiting for the othas we just sat n wait with the drivers. Theyve been no where but looking up on Megan fox's guess advert up on the trams. They kept saying to each otha, "yea, she came back! ;)" oh she'll Neva let me go ;P ! Hahah! Sian.. They've been lookg at it back n fourth all day.

News flash: a girl went missing. All on board but for one person. She told her friends to go ahead 1st while being reminded to quicken her shopping activities. Hmm.. Thts why. -bodo sombong namanya. There was a hectic couple of hours Lects trying to find a way to find her. Facebook, maps, phones, they nearly release a pic of her to the police to be searched by!!!

All came on to, we left Dave n rob n frens last seen her to go look for her. Aiayayayayay!!! Kau da tau x reti jalan, x reti bahasa, reti lah tgk jam. Kan da panic kan org. Ish. Sian lecturers!

We arrived hotel, when we came down we found out that she's been back for a while already. She told us tht she was lost n did not hv sense of direction at all. N just so happen the jacket she was wearg belonged to her friend n when she looked in the pocket, there was a card, a hotel crd. So she rang our hotel n they sent her a cab n brought her back.

On the otha hand. We had tuna pasta for dinner n afta that we had omelette n mashed potato. The kids didnt like the food, they played with it by knockg one face to anotha on tha plate n placed it back harshly on the table. The old waiter he saw it, he was furious. But he was holding it allll in. Alia n I felt so sorry for them, we couldn't finish ours either though we tried. Then, a knife accidentally fell of the waiter, I picked it up, but both of them thanked n very pleased w my action. I just felt so bad n so mad the kids behaved that way. The hotel is budgetary, they served us free dinner for crying out loud!! We booked the entire motel to us even! Well, nearly. Still! Ish.

Afta leaving, Alia n I got up, I wanted to stop n thanked him, but I couldn't cause he was still so mad lookg. But Alia told me, afta I passed, he did noticed I stopped n looked. N Alia thanked him for dinner. The kids were served turkey ok??? Ish. Kalau halal da. Lama I makan. I told Alia, "hati jiwa Kita lembut, sbb kita org timur" she agreed.
We chat n Alia went to bed. Gdnight. Leavg for france tomorrow. :)salam




Day 6

Morning.. Nothin much tday, we left brescia ard 9am. Head back to France. Before Alia n I walked out the hotel we took pictures with the staff, Pak cik n mak cik tu. Pak cik tu kissed our cheeks, Alia was so shocked. Like.. Oh no.. Huhuhu.. I cam, er.. Shocked jgk! So aftawards we just made our way to France. And reached abt 5pm French time.

Then we put our stuff back at the room, Sara Nak kitorg ikut dia. Alaa.. Malas la. Bukan tanak kawan, kitorg ok, appreciate dia nak kawan but cara dia tu tak kena. Like, brag abt herself too much. Complain too much. Boss around. Ish. Chill la. Hmm.. But we still made effort to knock on her door before we left.

So then we left, dia tah mana. We walked around took pictures, cari tmpt mkan. Fuhhh... I was starvg! Damn. Pls tell me I'm puttg on lil bit of weight on this trip. I really could use some.hehe. We found a place, ok la. Tgk price sume. When it came, alahai, bapak sedey nya, baik take away ja.. T_T" huhu. It looked like Chinese take away white box n food innit.

Then we had some gelato ice cream, was awesome. Lovely2. Then we talked about things, etc. Then we walked n walked n more photos. Then we came across an algerian business man, he talked to Alia, I just stood from afar, taking pictures of the buildings n stuff. We ended up spending the whole evening togetha. He explained to us about his traveling experiences. Hes 47 n not married. But he has a gf in filipines whose currently working in geneva. He said tht when he was in MAS, ppl took him around, so hes been looking forward to pay the favor to us by guiding us personal tour. N then he walked is Bck to our hotel. ;)

He reminded me, he can see that I'm very particular abt ppl who approach me thts why he could c that I didn't wana approach n say much. That I'm protectg myself well but try to take chances of meetg more ppl up front n not be afraid. But always remain alert.

Yeah.. Thts abt it.. Then alia n I watchd madrid bs Barcelona. 1-1. Ok.. Nite2. Salam.. Oh n btw I just had anotha pizza n pasta. Haha! Oops! Hey, I could use some weight ok! Ciao!
